Cut to remove terminal assembly at base of the outer ferrule. Insert tube between harness shield and insulation; Tape and mark 1-1/8" from end.
Using a tube cutter or a razor blade, cut and remove excess harness shield. Using a razor blade, cut and remove 1/2" of insulation.
Install phenolic insulator; Insert brass connector; Fasten with two 8/32 set screws. Press silicone boot over connector; Check connector alignment with a spark plug.
